WRINKLE RELAXER POST CARE
Neuromodulator injections (aka Botox) usually take between 15 to 30 minutes in the office. These injections are an effective and safe cosmetic procedure with minimal recovery time and side effects. You will experience changes in about 3-14 days, and neuromodulators treatments can last on average about 3-4 months.
Bruising varies, and minimal bruising resolves within 2-3 days. Occasionally, bruising may last up to 7-10 days. It is normal to find a small lump in the injected areas. Lumps are common and will resolve within 30 minutes to a few hours. You may feel firmness in the injection areas over the first few days after treatment. Over time the area softens, and you will look natural.
Some patients experience headaches after neuromodulator injections. Use Tylenol to relieve headaches if your medical provider approves. You may also take prescription headache medication as prescribed by your physician.
